Brown flour flat breads/buns
This is a very healthy bread for those who need to avoid the plain flour, i tried to make it my self using a simple way & surprisingly it turned supper tasty. Serving it warmly with some delicious side dishes or fillings will make your days. Do try & let us know the feedbacks.
Ingredients
*120ml warm milk
*2tbsp oil/butter
( mix both together)
Dry ingredients
*180g brown flour
*1tbsp yeast
*1tbsp sugar
*1tsp salt
Beat one egg in a bawl, add the milk mixture in it & mix it,
Slowly add the dry ingredients & combine. Knead into a soft dough,
Store in a warm place until double in size.
If you don’t find a warm place , heat your oven on 250degrees for 10-15 minutes, switch it off, now place the dough in it covered. It will firm within 1 or 1-1/2 hrs.
Roll out the dough as you see in the video to a 1/2-1 inch thick sheet. Cut rounds using a cookie cutter or any lids.
Cover the disks for about 10-15 minutes & let rest, meanwhile pre heat the oven on 180degrees for 10-15 minutes,
Now brush the disks with an egg, sprinkle sesame seeds, bake for about 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
The shape depends on you, you can make flat breads or buns . It’s completely your wish.
Serve it warm, as it is brown flour ,it might turn hard after 2-3 hrs.
