Chocolate swiss roll

Ingredients 1. Flour - 100g     Cocoa powder - 30g     Baking powder - 1 1/2 tspn   2. Egg  yokes - 8     Sugar - 75g     Vanilla essence - 1 tspn     Honey - 50g 3. Egg whites - 8     Sugar - 120g 4. Butter - 40g     Milk - 70ml Directions 1. Mix flour, baking powder, cocoa powder in a bawl. Keep it a side. 2. Melt the butter in a double boiler and mix with the milk. Keep it a side. 3. Add egg yokes,sugar,honey and essence in a bawl and beat in high speed until creamy.   4. Take another bawl and add egg whites and sugar. Beat in high speed. Continue until  stiff peaks form. 5.  Now combine half of egg white mixture to the egg yolk mixture  and stir well. 6. Add flour mixture  little by little to the egg mixture and mix well. 7. now add the remaining egg white mixture  and combine well. 8. Pour the melted butter and milk to the mixture and mix well. 9. Pour the mixture to the baking tray . (To 1/2 inch thickness). 10. Preheat the oven in

How to make milk biscuits

INGREDIENTS 200 g plain flour 120 g butter 80 g powder sugar/ icing sugar 10 g custard powder 10g milk powder 20ml milk 1/4 tspn baking powder Milk for wash Colored chips    ( for decorations) DIRECTIONS Whisk the butter and sugar until creamy. add milk and mix well. Add flour, milk powder, custard powder and baking powder to a separate bawl and mix them well. Now add the flour mixture to the butter mixture little by little . Simply knead and make a dough.  Let it rest for 5 mints.  Now spread some flour and roll the dough into a thin sheet. Cut the shapes. Keep on greased baking tray.  Give a milk wash on top. Or pour milk.  Sprinkle chips on top and press it. Bake for 15 mints in 180C. let it cool for 5 mints and serve.....

Butter cookies

Ingredients Butter - 1/ 2 cup ( in room temperature ) Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup Plain flour - 1 cup Baking powder - 1/4 teaspn Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspn Direction Whisk the butter for 10 sec and add sugar. Mix well and beat until creamy. ( use a spoon or hand mixture to beat to avoid over beating). Shift the flour and baking powder saparately and add them to the butter mixture. Add vanilla extract . Mix well and knead slowly. Do not over knead. Make the dought and cover it. Let it rest for 10 mints. Make small balls from the dough and keep on baking tray. Press little using a folk . Preheat the oven for 10 mints in 180 C. Bake for 15 - 20 mints in 180 C. Let it cool and enjoy with a cup of tea.

Semolina (Rulan )cake

INGREDIENTS 750 g semolina 750 g sugar 1/2 a coconut (crushed) 1/2 cup of water 1 tspn vanilla essence  DIRECTIONS Roast the rulan and coconut separately until golden. Add sugar and water to a pot and let them boiled. Cook until the sugar syrup become one thread consistency. Add coconut (and vanilla extract) and stir. Add rulan and mix well. Cook for few seconds and pour the mixture to a greased try. Draw lines or any shapes using a knif . Let it cool and cut your shapes. Serve and enjoy.  

Strawberry custard cake with choco nuts

  INGREDIENTS 250 g of plain flour 250 g of butter 200 g of caster sugar 100 g of strawberry custard powder( you can use any flavors) 2 teaspoons of baking powder 1 cup milk Chocolate nuts DIRECTIONS Beat butter and caster sugar in a ball until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and continue beating. Add milk and mix well. Shift the flour,baking powder and custard powder . Add the flour mix to the butter little by little and mix it well. Add chocolate nuts . Pour the mixture to the baking tray Preheat the oven in 180 C for 10 mints Bake the mixture in 180 C  for 50 - 60 mints. Let it cool ,cut it to pieces and serve.
