How to make ITALIAN STUFFED BREAD || recipe with filling
Italian breads are always amazing. So i choose this recipe to share with you all today,
For that, we need to make a simple bread dough & a filling, then spreading the filling all over the flattened dough & roll it.
Let’s go to the recipe .
INGREDIENTS FOR THE DOUGH
1. 2 cups of flour
2. 1 tsp instant dry yeast
3. 200ml of warm water
4. 1/2 tap salt
5. 2 tbsp olive oil ( veg oil)
Sugar optional.
Add all ingredients to your mixing bawl & mix well, knead a little & transfer the dough to your cleaned floured table top.
Kneed the dough for about 5-8 minutes till you get a smooth & soft dough.
Place it on a clean greased bawl.
Cover it & rest for at least 4 -6 hrs.
When you make breads & pizzas always remember to add little yeast instead adding in 1tbsp-2tbsp . Let it rest as long as you can, minimum 6hrs to 24 hrs. This will give you the perfect dough & improves the texture of the dough. Then only you will get the perfect crust.
Adding huge amount of yeast helps to raise the dough faster, but not the texture. You will just get a bumped flour ball🤪. So remember this technique when u make breads & pizzas next time . Specially pizzas.
So , leave your dough to rest & let’s start the filling.
INGREDIENTS,
1. Chicken - 200g
(cut into small stripes or pieces.)
If you need a heavy filling you can use more, i made a light spread. So it was 200g
2. Chopped onion & garlic
Onion 1/4 cup
Garlic 2 tbsp
3. Capsicum
Cut into stripes or chop - as you like.
4. Chilly powder-to taste
5. Pepper powder- to taste
6. Salt - to taste
7. Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
8. Ginger paste - 1 tsp
9. Sugar / ketchup ( optional)
10. Oil

Heat the oil in a pan, add onion & garlic. Stir for 2 minutes.
Now add the chicken & salt. Let it cooked for about 3-4 minutes & add your other ingredients. Stir well & cook covered for few minutes until ✅
TIME TO PRE HEAT THE OVEN.
200degrees - 10-15 minutes
Take your firmed bread dough, punch it down & roll it to a 1/2 inch thick sheet.
Spread your filling evenly, roll the dough slowly,
Top with mozzarella cheese .
seal the edges well, you can apply some water to the edges to seal .
Place it on your baking pan , i loved to make a curvy bread, so i just did it.. try your own styles or follow me :)
Brush with a beaten egg.
Sprinkle some black seeds & sesame seeds.
Bake the bread for 30-40 minutes on 225degrees of Celsius ( or until golden- timing depends on your oven, so keep an eye on your bread.)
