Semolina (Rulan )cake



INGREDIENTS

  1. 750 g semolina
  2. 750 g sugar
  3. 1/2 a coconut (crushed)
  4. 1/2 cup of water
  5. 1 tspn vanilla essence 
DIRECTIONS
  1. Roast the rulan and coconut separately until golden.
  2. Add sugar and water to a pot and let them boiled.
  3. Cook until the sugar syrup become one thread consistency.
  4. Add coconut (and vanilla extract) and stir.
  5. Add rulan and mix well. Cook for few seconds and pour the mixture to a greased try.
  6. Draw lines or any shapes using a knif .
  7. Let it cool and cut your shapes.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
