Easy crispy murukku



Instantly made some crispy murukku to my eid plate. This is very special on eid & festivals, I remember the school days i use to buy a big packet of these murukku from shops & eat with my friends. Those days i had no idea how to make it, just knew to eat it😄It’s so exciting to learn to make our favorite foods. 
 To make this recipe you need few ingredients, 

  1. 1 cup gram flour 
  2. 1 cup rice flour 
  3. 2 tsp chilly powder 
  4. 2tsp salt
  5. 1 tsp sesame seeds 
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 2 tsp butter
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
( spices can be adjusted to your taste)


Mix all in a bawl, add water & knead into a dough, it’s soft & doesn’t stick to the hand.

Now take  a part if the dough, put into the murukku maker or a piping bag .

Pip it on a greased pan or try to a swirl pattern


Deep fry in heated oil over medium flame until it turns golden.
For extra spicy : mix salt & chilly powder in a bawl & put these fried murukku in it & mix well.


Ready to eat.... 

Store in a airtight container or a tightly tied bag.
