How to make Nasigoreng
- 1 1/2 c Long Basmati rice ( cooked)
- 1 tsp garlic slices/ grated.
- 1/4 tsp grated ginger
- 2-3 medium Onions, cut in half, sliced
- 2 Fresh green chilies, seeded,
- Some Spring onion (1/2" length)
- 8-10 prawns
- 250 g-300 g Skinless chicken breast ( fried and sliced)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 3 -4 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 1/2 tsp chilly powder
- 1/2 cup shrimp paste / to taste ( how to make shrimp paste ) http://www.zaraskitchen.co/2015/12/shrimp-paste.html
- 2 tsp Butter
- 1 1/2 tsp seasoning oil
- Chopped Bell peppers
Directions
- Heat butter and seasoning oil in a large skillet.
- Add onions, ginger,garlic and chilies and fry 2 minutes.
- Add salt.
- Add spring onion, bell peppers and prawns .fry gently 10 minutes until cooked.
- Now add chicken and remaining ingredients and mix well.( if u wanna make it spicy add some extra shrimp paste)
- Add rice and and cook 5-6 minutes or until piping hot,
- stirring constantly. Season with salt.
- Turn mixture into a warm serving dish and keep warm
- Garnish with a Omelette ,some chopped spring onions, coriander and bell peppers.
