channa dhal vadai

ingredients


  1. Channa dhal 2 cups
  2. 1 small onion chopped 
  3. Green chillies - 3
  4. Dried red chillies - 3 Or 3 tsp crushed red chilly
  5. Curry leaves
  6. Grated ginger 1 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Baking soda 1 tsp
  9. 2 tbsp gram flour(optional)

Directions


  • Soak the dhal for about 6 hrs.
  • Grind it to a thick paste adding little drops of water.
  • Now take ur spices and grind them well. 
  • Mix the dhal paste ,spices , gram flour and baking powder well.
  • Now keep it a side for about 1/2 hr.
  • Make shapes with your wet hands and fry over medium flame.
