Simple Sago vada recipe



Ingredients 

  1. sago - 1/2 cup.
  2. ( boiled & mashed potato ) or (scraped raw potato) - 1 cup                                           
  3. Rice flour - 1/4 cup. 
  4. Red chilly powder  (to taste)
  5. pepper powder (to taste)
  6. salt (to taste)
  7. green chillies  - 2(chopped)
  8. coriander leaves  (chopped)
  9. cumin seeds  - 1/2 tea spoon  
  10. baking soda - 1/4 tea spoon     

Directions

  • Wash the sago with cold water and soak it for about 5 hrs in normal water. 
  • Drain it and squeeze all excess water .
  • put squeezed sago in a bawl. 
  • Add all other ingredients. 
  • Mix and make it as a dough . 
  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. 
  • Make small balls and flat them little, 
  • drop it to the heated oil, 
  • fry in medium flame until golden. 
  • Place fried vada to a paper towel . 
  • Sago vada is ready to serve.
