How to make Butter chicken

INGREDIENTS


Chicken marinate


  1. 250 g boneless chicken pieces
  2. 1/2 tspn red chilly powder
  3. 1/2 tspn coriander powder
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1/2 tspn ginger garlic paste    



Gravy


  1. 1 tblspn oil
  2. 50 g butter
  3. 1/2 tspn cumin seeds
  4. 1 medium size chopped onion
  5. 100 g mashed tomato
  6. Meshed Fenugreek leaves ( optional)
  7. Cashew nuts
  8. 1 sliced green chilly
  9. 1/2 tspn Red chilly powder
  10. 1/2 tspn ginger garlic paste
  11. 1/2 tblspn coriander powder
  12. 1 - 2 tabl spn tomato ketchup (optional)
  13. 5 ml cream
  14. salt to taste
  15. chopped coriander leaves



directions


  • Combine all marinate ingredients in a ball. Mix well
  • Add oil and butter in a deep pan and heat it
  • Add marinated chicken mix into the heated oil and fry them.
  • Once the chicken cooked replace the chicken pieces into a ball .
  • Now add onion,tomato,green chilly,salt, and other spices to that oil, stir and add 1/2 cup of water.
  • Let it cook for about 10 mints or until tomatoes and onions are cooked .
  • Now turn off the stove and leave it to cool.
  • Add the mixture into the blender cup and grind them to make a past.
  • Pour the past into the pot and add some water and cashew nuts.
  • cook for few minutes
  • add ketchup and cream. Stir . Cook for about 10 minutes in medium flame.
  • Add fried chicken to the gravy and cook in low flame for another 10 minutes.
  • Add coriander leaves and serve.
