Ground beef filling
When it comes about filling on a pastry or a bun straightly we jump into potatoes... it’s so boring sometimes. So try this simple recipe & give a new taste to your pastries ...
Ground beef filling
- Around 200g beef
- Salt
- Water
Add all in a pressure cooker or a large vessel & boil it till done.
Grind the beef in a chopper or a blender.
TIP: ( don’t throw the beef stock, u can use it to make a tasty soup, cook pastas or rice)
INGREDIENTS
- 1 chopped onion
- Chopped green chillies
- Chopped capsicums
- Chopped tomatoes
- Some grated carrots
- Salt to taste
- Chilly flakes- around 3tsp
- Pepper- around 1 tsp
- Oil
- Add oil in a pan & heat it.
- Add onion & stir for a while, add salt. Mix well, now add the tomatoes,
- Stir for 2-3 minutes, add the remaining ingredients & stir well. Cook covered for 2-3 minutes.
- Now stir the beef in it, keep stirring for about 3 minutes over medium low flame. Adjust the spices &
- salt according to your taste.
- That’s it, the filling is ready.
You can use it to make,
- Stuffed Buns
- Pastries
- Layered rotty
- Samosa & etc
