Ground beef filling

When it comes about filling on a pastry or a bun straightly we jump into potatoes... it’s so boring sometimes. So try this simple recipe & give a new taste to your pastries ...

Ground beef filling 



PRE BOILING
  • Around 200g beef
  • Salt
  • Water


Add all in a pressure cooker or a large vessel & boil it till done.

Grind the beef in a chopper or a blender.
 TIP: ( don’t throw the beef stock, u can use it to make a tasty soup, cook pastas or rice)


INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 chopped onion 
  • Chopped green chillies 
  • Chopped capsicums 
  • Chopped tomatoes 
  • Some grated carrots 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Chilly flakes- around 3tsp
  • Pepper- around 1 tsp
  • Oil

  1. Add oil in a pan & heat it.
  2. Add onion & stir for a while, add salt. Mix well, now        add the   tomatoes, 
  3. Stir for 2-3 minutes, add the remaining ingredients & stir well. Cook covered for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Now stir the beef in it, keep stirring for about 3 minutes over medium low flame. Adjust the spices & 
  5. salt according to your taste.
  6. That’s it, the filling is ready.

You can use it to make,

  • Stuffed Buns
  • Pastries 
  • Layered rotty
  • Samosa & etc
