how to make gulab jamun, another tasty way|| another yummy gulabjamun recipe



Gulab jamun is a special indien dessert recipe. it's really delicious food. During every festivals and special days i will never forget to make  this sweet gulab jamuns. becourse i love it and my family too..  I'm sure you also love it and you wish to make it your self... 

INGREDIENTS

  1. milk powder - 190 g  ( 1 1/2 cup)
  2. all purpose flour  - 90 g (3/4 cup)
  3. butter - 80 g (1/3 cup)
  4. baking powder - 1 1/2 tea spoon
  5. sugar - 500 g
  6. water - 500 ml
  7. cardamom
  8. Lemon juice - 1/4 tea spoon
  9. milk.
  10. Oil for fry

1. MAKING SUGAR SYRUP 



  • take sugar , cardamom & water in a pot.
  • add lemon juice to it.
  • now heat the mixer & let it boil until lightly stick. 
  • switch off the fire before the syrup reaches a one thread consistency.

2. MAKING GULAB JAMUN



  • mix your milk powder,flour,butter,baking powder in a bawl.
  • now add milk little by little and make the gulab jamun dough.
  • do not add more milk..it will make your dough watery.
  • do not over mix or knead.
  • apply some oil on your palms.
  • start to make small balls with this dough.



  • now take a pot. 
  • heat oil for deep frying.
  • once the oil becomes medium hot simply drop your gulab jamun balls into the oil.


  • keep frying till they become light golden brown



  • the balls have to be stirred with a slotted spoon to get even browning.
  • take the gulab jamun balls out and add them into the sugar syrup directly .
  • you have to let the gulab jamun balls to soak in sugar syrup for about 1/2 hours to get the real taste. it will be very soft and spongy.......super tasty.
